Sagi M. Kuznits, MD, FACS

Dr. Kuznits is a board-certified neurosurgeon, who specializes in cranial and spinal surgeries to treat neoplastic (tumor-related), degenerative, infectious, and trauma-related conditions.

Dr. Kuznits is cognizant of the individual needs patients have when faced with a neurological disorder and aspires to educate patients about their condition and help them understand and evaluate their treatment options. He strongly believes that building trust is at the core of a successful patient experience.

Dr. Kuznits received his undergraduate degree in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to medical school at Temple University, and completed his neurosurgery internship and residency training at Northwestern University.

A native of the Philadelphia area, Dr. Kuznits has been providing neurosurgical care to the residents of Chester and Montgomery counties since 2000. Upon completing his training, he joined the Department of Neurosurgery at Main Line Health. In 2008, Dr. Kuznits established Neurosurgical Care, a practice with a keen interest in minimally invasive and image-guided techniques for treating spinal and cranial conditions.

He performs complex revision surgery for cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral conditions, and employs minimally invasive approaches whenever possible and appropriate. He performs image-guided, frameless stereotactic surgery to treat benign and malignant brain tumors and neuromodulation procedures to treat neuropathic pain.

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Kuznits enjoys spending quality time with his wife, and their three children.

Jacquelyn joined Neurosurgical Care as a Physician Assistant in 2014. Jacquelyn is committed to developing a strong rapport with her patients by listening to their needs and collaborating with them when making clinical decisions. Jacquelyn firmly believes that a successful healthcare relationship is built on trust, respect and honesty.

Following graduation, she worked as a pharmacy technician, where she gained in-depth knowledge in pharmacology. She then went on to earning her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, while maintaining her job at the pharmacy.

Her strong background in pharmacology serves as a valuable resource to patients who are weaning off pain medications, and/or are seeking guidance regarding smoking cessation.

Routinely assisting Dr. Kuznits in the Operating Room has afforded Jacquelyn precise knowledge of the surgical anatomy associated with each procedure, preparing her to answer patient inquiries thoroughly and accurately.

Jacquelyn is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants (PSPA).
